Residential solar — your questions answered

Yes. When the system is sized to your monthly consumption, the solar units you generate offset the units you use through net metering. Most of our customers pay only the fixed charges of the electricity board, and many see a zero bill. During the free site visit we study your last bills and recommend the right capacity so your bill comes down to zero.

PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is a Government of India scheme for households that install rooftop solar. Along with it, a subsidy facility is available from the Government of India and the Government of Bihar. Any residential electricity consumer with a suitable roof can apply. In partnership with Unique Concept Energy, an MNRE-approved vendor, Harini Enterprises handles the registration on the national portal, installation and net-meter process for you.

The subsidy is credited directly to your bank account after the installation is completed, inspected and the net meter is commissioned. We guide you on every document and follow up on the process so that you receive it without running around.

An On-Grid system works with the electricity grid and has no inverter and no battery — it is the most economical way to bring your bill to zero. A Hybrid system comes with a lithium inverter and battery, so you also get power backup during power cuts. We recommend the right option based on your area’s power supply and your needs.

Yes. Easy solar loans are available through SBI and all government banks. You do not need to visit anywhere — we take complete responsibility for the process. You only need to share basic documents such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, latest electricity bill, bank passbook and property/roof ownership proof, and we guide you through the rest.

Once the application and loan (if any) are approved, the physical installation of a typical home system is completed in 2–3 days. Net-meter installation depends on the electricity department, and we follow up with them on your behalf.
